Hello guys. My father would be applying for B1/B2 visa to visit me with my mother ,who already has a visa and visited before. Now I got my CR1 recently this month and will be travelling soon. So when my father goes for the interview as I know that he has to show all ties back in his country but what should he say if the officer asks what I do,because I wont be getting job anytime soon and maybe I will start his visa process this month. He wants to be very honest but Im confused if he should mention about my visa.

Sorry for such silly question but Im confused. Any kind of help will be appreciated. Thank You.

I have another question. While filling the DS 160 there is an option if any of your relative lives in US. And Im daughter and its Lawful Permanent Resident. So should I check Yes/No because I won't be going to US till October. And maybe he will get interview by September last.

Wait.. are you travelling to the US to join your husband, but planning to take your parents along?

You are not a Lawful Permanent Resident yet; not until after you enter the US and your CR1 visa is endorsed on the passport. Then you become an LPR.
