hi guys i lived in nyc and florida a few years ago but currently live in trinidad how can i get police clearance for nyc and florida

Then I would suggest you obtain a new lawyer as he clearly is misinformed. For the overwhelmingly large Marjory of people a lawyer is not needed unless you have some unusual complexities to your case. Additionally, I have seen time and time again where a lawyer has messed up the visa process.

My hubby just had his interview last week and he lived here in the US for 22 years. I pulled his police report and they did ask for it at the interview. Thank God, I went with my gut and pulled it out. He had to send me a notarized permission to get it pulled for him.
