Vaccines - Bucharest

The Bucharest consulate publishes a list of required vaccines for K-1 visa. I know the State Department does not strictly require all vaccines to be completed to enter the U.S., but it seems that each consulate can make up its own rules regarding required vaccines. Has anyone had experience w the Bucharest consulate and not having the required vaccines at the time of the K-1 interview?

thanks

We had no problem with the Bucharest Consulate or the vaccinations my husband received. He used one of the medical facilities recommended on the list. Be sure to ask for a copy of the medical when you have it done. You will need it for AOS.

Hello,

If you are missing any vaccines, they will tell you when you will have your medical. You can take them that day if necessary.

I was expecting to not have them all, but the doctor said that for the K1 visa the vaccine requirements are not very strict.

I haven't had any issues with that at my interview at the Bucharest consulate.

Good luck

I brought with me the vaccination history from my GP, they looked at it and said that I have all the vaccinations for the K-1 Visa. Never had a problem with that and the doctor at Regina Maria, Mariana Toma I believe is her name was so nice and helpful.

Good luck,

Alex
