Hello,

I've searched the forum but couldn't find anything but I'm 100% sure I've seen threads in here by people who posted about what they put in their AOS package. I've read the guide but it doesn't list exacly what proof to add, such as bills with both names on them, joint bank accounts, credit cards with both names on them and so on.

Can anyone help me find a list of what stuff is good to add in the package as evidence of bona fide marriage? This is regarding to AOS from a K-1.

Marriage license. For AOS from K-1 the relationship has already been scrutinized. Evidence of bona fide marriage is not required with I-485.

If you get an interview (may or may not happen), then take some joint bank account statements, copy of lease, etc.

Oh that makes so much sense. I was thinking "How much proof can one actually have after only a few weeks of marriage?". So it's for the ROC that all this is mostly required then?

We'll try to fix as much as we can already for the AOS in case of an interview, obviously joint bank accounts and such.

Thank you!

The guide doesn't list that stuff because the only proof of marriage/bona fide relationship required with the initial filing of the I-485 is a copy of your marriage certificate(not license). If you get an interview, take some evidence of co-mingling finances and co-habitation.

Start saving up all that stuff for ROC now though. You will need to provide proof that spans the entire length of your marriage.
