Hello All

What type of binder do I need to provide for my husband interview? And where did you purchase it from and how many pages did you include in your binder? I need people who are dealing with the Ghanaian embassy to respond. Thank you

The type of binder doesn't matter. Any binder you pick up from grocery store, Walmart or Target is fine.

As for the paperwork, makes sure to include any evidence that will support your relationship. With Ghana, you want to submit as much as you can. But remember to focus on quality materials like conversation talking about your future, anything for trips you went on, pictures with family and friend (if you have them), proof of combining your lives, etc.

Also make sure to send him copies of everything you sent with your petition. The questions will come from the material you sent and it's important for your husband to be familiar with the documentation. It can also help, if a paticular document gets lost along the way.

Good luck! When is your interview?

Thank you for your response. After reading some of the reviews about types of binders. I need one that will fit under neath the glass window right? I have only found hard binders that will not fit. I just don't want to cause any problems because of a certain binder that I purchased

When my now husband went to the embassy for his K1 interview, I put everything in an accordion binder. It's soft so it can go under the glass. It also had sections so I could label what was in each area.

The type of the binder doesn't matter. They will open it look you open a book and pass it through the hold. That was what they did to the photo album and binder I sent to wife. Are you going to Ghana? if you not, consider the weight of the documents and the cost mailing it through FedEx or DHL. when is your interview? Did you front load during the USCIS stage? Good luck to you.
