Oh my god can this process just hurry the eff along, my fiancé bought a puppy for us yesterday and I am dying to join him.

Does anyone have a predicted POE for me, given my timeline below? Our case is currently 'at NVC' - I am waiting to schedule my medical and interview at the first possible moment.

Does anyone have a predicted POE for me, given my timeline below? Our case is currently 'at NVC' - I am waiting to schedule my medical and interview at the first possible moment.

Have you called NVC and asked for your LND? If you're waiting for a letter from the NVC to come... you shouldn't be expecting it. The USC may receive a letter eventually.. probably well after you're relaxing with your fiance stateside.

If you call and they tell you it's not in the system yet and to wait 30 days, you may keep calling them any day should you wish.

Once you have that number you can proceed.

Meanwhile make sure your vaccinations are done before the medical, your police certificate is in order, and your long form birth certificate is in order.

For a timeline? Well that all depends on how soon the NVC has shipped the case to London, how fast you complete the medical and other paperwork, and what appointments are available for the embassy when you go to make it.

I'd say give or take a couple months.

My crystal ball says Sept 13 for visa in hand. But don't go booking plane tickets. Can we get a pool going with our guesses? I choose Starbucks card as my prize if I win. :P

We have our NVC number, our case is at the NVC but hasn't been sent to London yet. Is there ANYTHING I can do in the meantime?
