I have a close friend who has her interview the third week of August and she doesn't want it for personal reasons she wants her interview in September. I might get my interview in September(I was told by an NVC rep). Can you trade interviews?

Timeline:

USCIS STAGE:

*I130 sent: 01/04/16

*Noa1: 02/02/16

*Noa2: 06/01/16

NVC STAGE:

*NVC received case: 06/20/16

*NVC case number given: 07/05/16

*Invoice given: 07/05/16

*AOS invoiced: 07/06/16

*AOS paid: 07/06/16

*Submitted DS-261: 07/08/16

*Sent AOS and IV packages: 07/12/16

*Receive IV fee: 07/12/16

*Pay IV fee: 07/12/16

*DS-260 received:07/15/16

*Submit DS-260: 07/15/16

*Scan Date: 07/18/16

♥CASE COMPLETE♥: 7/27/16

personally I never heard of this you can only call the embassy and see if they have something closer or even that august interview

    6/7/2016 Didn’t get case number so case went to supervisor look *****(new time frame is 2 weeks to get your case and invoice number form NVC.)

    6/10/2016 Form DS-261 Sent

    6/14/2016 AOS BILL INVOICED

    6/14/2016 AOS BILL PAID

    6/16/2016 IV BILL Assigned

    6/17/2016 IV BILL PAID

    6/17/2016 IV and AOS packet arrived at NVC

    6/17/2016 Scan Date

    6/20/2016 DS-260 SENT

    6/22/2016 Confirmation that they received the packet

Lol I haven't heard of it either but wish we could do that. My friend doesn't want her august interview and she said she would trade it with my september interview. I'll have to ask but I don't know :/

Im pretty certain i can say NO :no: since your time and slot is linked to your account. They even go as far allowing only one change.

I would rescheduele. To a more convinient time. Honestly anything you do their ?? eyes are on you why rile the bees. You set the time up just show up.

Thats just my personal opinion.

I don't see how you can trade an interview you don't have yet.

If she needs a new date her interview will go to the next person in line and your friend back in line so she may not get a September interview either.

June 17, 2010: Arrived for second in-person meeting and start of travel together to other areas of China!

September 1, 2010: Switched course from K1 to CR-1
December 8, 2010: Wedding date set; it will be on February 18, 2011!

06-04-2007 = TSC stamps postal return-receipt for I-129f.

06-11-2007 = NOA1 date (unknown to me).

07-20-2007 = Phoned Immigration Officer; got WAC#; where's NOA1?

09-25-2007 = Touch (first-ever).

09-28-2007 = NOA1, 23 days after their 45-day promise to send it (grrrr).

10-20 & 11-14-2007 = Phoned ImmOffs; "still pending."

12-11-2007 = 180 days; file is "between workstations, may be early Jan."; touches 12/11 & 12/12.

12-18-2007 = Call; file is with Division 9 ofcr. (bckgrnd check); e-prompt to shake it; touch.

12-19-2007 = NOA2 by e-mail & web, dated 12-18-07 (187 days; 201 per VJ); in mail 12/24/07.

01-09-2008 = File from USCIS to NVC, 1-4-08; NVC creates file, 1/15/08; to consulate 1/16/08.

01-23-2008 = Consulate gets file; outdated Packet 4 mailed to fiancee 1/27/08; rec'd 3/3/08.

04-29-2008 = Fiancee's 4-min. consular interview, 8:30 a.m.; much evidence brought but not allowed to be presented (consul: "More proof! Second interview! Bring your fiance!").

05-05-2008 = Infuriating $12 call to non-English-speaking consulate appointment-setter.

05-06-2008 = Better $12 call to English-speaker; "joint" interview date 6/30/08 (my selection).

06-30-2008 = Stokes Interrogations w/Ecuadorian (not USC); "wait 2 weeks; we'll mail her."

07-2008 = Daily calls to DOS: "currently processing"; 8/05 = Phoned consulate, got Section Chief; wrote him.

08-07-08 = E-mail from consulate, promising to issue visa "as soon as we get her passport" (on 8/12, per DHL).

08-27-08 = Phoned consulate (they "couldn't find" our file); visa DHL'd 8/28; in hand 9/1; through POE on 10/9 with NO hassles(!).

quick question the beneficiary received a letter from the embassy stating the interview date via mail home address

is that the same one the petitioner gets via email thanks guys
