Passport Pictures.

I sent two passport style pictures of my husband to the NVC and also to USCIS. I know they have to be within a certain timeframe. The last set of passport pictures that we sent to the NVC were taken in May. Our case is recently completed, and we will most likely be given an interview in September. Now I'm curious if we have to bring another set to my husband interview. Seems a bit excess. Thanks for your anticipated response.

Most likely, yes. He'll also need some for his medical. I personally believe the pictures are meant to accompany different piles of paperwork as a secondary identity validation during the process.

Agree with others, you will probably need to bring the passport photos during the interview even though you sent those to NVC. NVC doesn't ask for passport photos.

Thanks for he reply everyone. I sent passport pictures to the NVC because it was suggested in the NVC process guide a fellow member posted. Didn't know that it wasn't required.

Yeah the guide does say to send them in but, I went on the travel state website and it didn't specify to send to NVC only to bring to the embassy. All the other docs specifically state send to NVC and bring to embassy. The passport pic only said to bring to the embassy.
