Hello VJers

I have a citizenship interview coming up based on marriage. I am fully prepared for my upcoming interview. One incident happened last week.

My wife's friend called a cops on us saying there is a domestic violence in my house. At around 10 in the evening the cops showed up in our door when we were about to go to bed saying that there is a complaint against you abusing wife. They asked my wife and she explained there is nothing going on we were about to go to bed as a normal sleep hours. So the cops satisfying that its a false claim and nothing was reported.

When i talked to my wife she said she hasn't been seeing her for couple of months and she is mad that she is not seeing her anymore.

After couple of days my wife came to know her friend she was jailed for a night.

Now i dont have to do anything with that, but my concern is as i am preparing for my interview do i need to get any kind of police report? As i stated earlier there was no report filed as the cops just asked us questions and they were satisfied with the answers and they left.

Please advise me if i need to do anything else.

appreciate it if you guys can guide me to the correct path

Ok this is abit confusing.

Let me get this straight your wife is the USC OR THE BENEFICIARY?

She has a neighbor whos her friend she was placed in she your wife or the neighbor went to jail??

Anyway the domestic no charges were filed no one went to jail that one should not be a problem.

So because your wife has not seen the friend in a while, the friend calls the police on you?!?! What a horrible, awful person/nut job! Now it turns out the friend also went to jail? CRAZY!

Since there were no charges filed against you and not even a police report, you have nothing to worry about on that end. However, I would file charges against the "friend". Surely the cops could charge her with wasting police time and filing a false (verbal) report. I would not want this "friend" anywhere near me.

I have seen that happen where another person tries to cause problems in someone else's marriage. Usually it's false claims that one spouse is cheating on the other so they begin to lose trust in each other. But this "he hits his wife" is a very bizarre method. Obviously the wife will simply and rightfully deny the charges and no trust is lost. In fact, they are now bonded trying to find out who is lying about them.

No, no, no, honey, this is not the way to break a couple up. :lol:

What a bizarre situation. Well, you don't have to worry about a police issue but I would get as far away as possible from the nut case. She has already shown the police that her word means nothing so there is a least that.

Thank you guys for your valuable suggestions. So far i have not called police about the incident or anything. I just setup up my mind that nothing happened based for n 400 interview. Do i need to be concerned about anything else. Like answering questions when interviewer will ask me?
