hi.

I am US citizen and I apply for green card for my wife we have interview after 5 days for the green card.we approved for I-130. My son is US citizen too.im the sponsor. The issue I was received the food stamp and Medicare for all 3 . My lawyer just told me that I need to stop get the welfare benefits.i just cancel all the benefits today. Can you please tell me what I need to do?and which i need to say in interview. thank you

Maybe I am misunderstanding something......you took food stamps and medicare because it was "free" to you. If you really needed assistance you would not cancel them so freely. Every tax payer gave to your family. I am not sure what the steps are since you used public assistance. Did you file I-864?

5/5/2016 Email from NVC...case complete with interview date 6/17

Me: Irish/ Swiss citizen, and now naturalised US citizen. Husband: USC; twin babies born Feb 08 in Ireland and a daughter in Feb 2010 in Arkansas who are all joint Irish/ USC. Did DCF (IR1) in 6 weeks via the Dublin, Ireland embassy and now living in Arkansas.

yes i did file I-864 and im the support. my income was 20k and i used my house as the rest of the money i need the be 26k to support my wife. i was used obama care in after that he tel me that im not qualified and he send me to the welfare and he tel me that im qualified for food stamps and medicare for all (my wife ,me,my son).my question that effect my wife prosser thanks

You are a USC and can use whatever programs you are eligible for. Sounds like your state has the extended Medicare program for the Affordable Care Act, and your income qualifies for that as your health insurance, though it is a bit hard to follow what you are typing. If that is what you are trying to say, then no problem.
