Morocco Medical for K1

My fiancé and I are at the stage now to gather information for his medical to be scheduled. I wanted to hear some recent feedback of the doctors for Casablanca. Which doctor is best to go to? How much did they charge you? What kind of tests/vaccinations did you have to get? Was it an all day event or did you have to go back on multiple trips to complete things?

Any and all feedback would be great!

Hi and Salaam alaikum!

My husband went to Doctor Ambari - because he read reviews in Darija that said the other doctor did unnecessary extra tests that increased the out of pocket cost.

The total out of pocket cost just for medical not including a hotel, food and transportation etc was 1500 DH. Make sure to have your fiance call as soon as he gets the interview date and email or letter in the mail to make an appointment with Dr. Ambari.

Tell your fiance to arrive at the panel drs with 7 moroccan sized passport photos with a white background, his passport and interview letter. Be sure to get up early.. we arrived at Dr Ambari's by 8:30 am.. by 9am at the lab for blood work, 11am at the radiology office left with xrays in hand, consult & vaccines with Dr Ambari at 11:30am and finally picked up lab work at 12:30pm and back to Ambari for the complete packet by 1pm. My husband got all his medical exam stuff done in one day.

Dr. Abdelouahed Ambari (French - Arabic - English)
14 Bd. Ain Taoujtate

ah chokran! when you made the appointment did you have to provide the doctor anything - like case # or show proof of approval? anything else for my fiancé to bring with him besides passport pics? On a side note how was your interview scheduled? a lot of people say they are using the CGI Federal website to schedule their own interview in Morocco cuz they never received the package 3 but others are saying that they were sent a package from the embassy. What happened in your case? :)

We used the women Doctor I think it nizhra or something like that . You will have to go to 3 different places to do test first to doctor to pay and sign papers then to other places for test and others . Just make sure you do it 2 weeks before . We got delayed a bit because our results were not ready I time for interview which was not a problem we just brought them a week later to embassy and visa was issued . Just be prepared to do a lot of running around to different offices .

You need to bring your interview appointment letter to appointment with passport

For k1 you can't schedule your interview embassy does that and that happens via email so you should email them to see if there ready to schedule
