Get rid of the 3 ring binder, all papers will be removed and the binder discarded before your file is even viewed by an adjudicator.

Really? I did not know this.

How should I combined it together? Just staple it and hope for the best? I have a lot of paper to send. The 1 inch binder is pretty full; nothing else is fitting in there.

I was going to put it in a box and send it as it is so big. Guess that's out. I'm off to WalMart to buy more office supplies to reorganize this package.

My worst fear is someone gets it and sticks it at the bottom of the stack and it doesn't get looked at for months.

Thank you!

Looks like I need to buy a lot of ACCO fasteners.

I am not comfortable punching holes in my original translated copy of my daughters birth certificate, my marriage license and pictures. But that's what they want.

I'm a bit OCD and it took me a long time to get the binder to what I consider perfect. Now I am freaking out and will end up not sleeping until this is USCIS perfect.

Thanks again for the information. I had no clue that it needed to be submitted a certain way. Glad I asked.

Don't send originals, just photocopies.

Even if you don't punch holes in things, USCIS probably will and scribble notes and remarks all over them. I watched a video on how they work.

Checklist looks good except for the binder. You have two options ACCO fasteners or a binder clip. I used a large binder clip to hold it all together, paper clip to separate papers based on checklist and sent it off in a priority express envelope.

The CBP accidently gave my fiancee her K1 packet back and we dug though everything for curiousity sake before going to an airport to turn it in, it's definitely written all over and has scan marks at the bottom with the date and time everything was scanned. I should have taken pictures.

That is what I am doing. I am just going to keep is simple. Paper clips and binder clips.

Thanks!

I don't know how other countries work. But in Thailand they make a copy of the original (in Thai). Stamp and sign that it is an authentic copy. Then they staple the English translation on to that. They also stamp and sign that the translation is official.

I am confident that they will accept it. The IRS accepted them when we filed for my wife's US Tax ID number.
