Drop off i-129f packet at local office?

Let's say an i-129f packet was messed up somehow or went missing or whatever and it happened at the hands of the USCIS and you had to refile, would it be possible to drop it off at a local field office if so? From what I can understand this can't be done in normal cases, but maybe it's possible in a scenario like this? Has anyone done it?

Also, if USCIS had ###### something up somehow and you had to refile, could you get it expedited then?

These are just questions, not saying anything's wrong with our case. I'm just curious how it works.

Expedite Criteria

Like I said, it's just a question. I can't assume anything at this point as they haven't told us anything.

No they just say they need time to find out where the petition is at. They can't see anything at the moment as we got a receipt number that doesn't exist in their system. I'm hoping they're looking for it and not just saying that and then doing nothing.

I would hope it would mediate an expedite since its there error. Did they cash the check?

We don't even know if there is an error at this point, I guess.

Yes, check was cashed on January 5.

Get in contact with your senator, they may be able to get more information from uscis. If they cashed your check, they have your case. If you send another packet, it might cause more problems.
