Hi everyone,

I just dropped off my I-130 package petitioning for my husband.

That was a lot of work! There is nothing that I didn't include.

I wish everyone the best of luck.

Please God let this go back smoothly so that hubby is here for our baby's birth. AMEN!

Hi everyone!

Kudos to all those who had the patience to wait for it

Congrats on the Baby.

And it's a great news that the package is delivered.

We are still in the process of filing, but we hope to file it by next week.

This long distance and wait sucks. It would be worse for you with your current situation. Hang in there.

Thank you!!!

Get it done ASAP. I regret the fact that I was checking, double checking and triple checking all the evidence I gathered to prove this long ongoing relationship I have that I wasted a month.

I wish you all the best!!!

We are preparing third party affidavits.

We don't have long relationship. We talked to each other for 3-4 months, we were not connected on any of the social media (We kinda didn't want to jinx it, you know?). She came to India in April and we went on 4-5 dates and after she met my parents, we decided to get married. We don't have long relationship proofs, would that be a hindrance? what is your take?

Also, should we send all the call records and other proofs with I-130 or at NVC stage?

There is a guide here that I followed. Check it under the guides tab

My understanding affidavits have little to no value, but since you have short term relationship I'd say include them since you're not losing much.

Call logs is also ok

But, wedding photos have a heavier weight.

Also, your ticket and passport stamps to India.

Meanwhile, after you send your package, keep collecting all evidence that supports an ongoing relationship between the two of you

Marriage certificate, and I sent a certified copy, is the primary evidence. Everything else is secondary.

Send everything in the I 130 package.

Good luck
