I have a question for you guys, how long it will take for my wife to be with us in America or how long it will take the Fiance Visa to be approved?

Correct terminology matters. You are just creating confusion which makes it hard for people to help you.

Correct your profile if you want correct answers.

Your profile list an " approved Adjustment of Status" while you said in another thread that you are in the PI waiting for your father's PD to be current and you are a potential derivative beneficiary. What is your real situation? http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/594786-brother-of-a-us-citizen/#entry8126130

As a derivative beneficiary, you can't have a wife.

An LPR can not file for a fiancee.

Is she your wife or your fiancee?

Fix your story and use the correct terminology if you want good answers.

******* Moving from Bringing Family to What Visa Do I Need forum *******

We only want to give you the right answers, so it is very important you tell the whole story at the beginning, ie this being a question for your friend, not you; putting your thread in the right forum can also help.

The K1 fiance visa takes about 6 months from filing to interview, the CR1 spousal visa just under a year. However, the spousal visa is cheaper, and it means the foreign beneficiary can work and travel right away, whereas with the fiance visa, there is 3+ months of not working, and not being able to return home in an emergency. Another consideration for many is where they want to marry; for the fiance visa, you must marry in the USA, and if your friend and his fiance are both from Phils, they might want to have their big wedding there, so friends and family can attend as they are unlikely to be able to afford to travel to the USA, or get tourist visas.

I'm just trying to help you.

You said "my wife" in your first post. You didn't say "your friend's fiancée."

If you confuse people, it will be harder to help you.

It takes about 6-12 months to get a K-1 fiancée visa.
