mistake on i864: cross out or whiteout

Hi all. I was filling in the final draft of my I864 and I began to write the wrong word for Province. I wrote TRU.. so I put the correct province name next to it. Should I write a single line like this; TRU or should I use white-out to erase it?

Fill out a NEW I-864. Do not cross out and especially do not white out anything on a legally binding form like the I-864.

Also if using a computer most of it can be filled out on a pdf reader.

Print a new form and fill it in correctly. don't cross it out or white out.

Like others have said, just do a new form. You did the form on the computer, right?! So all you have to do is just open the document, change the incorrect part, print and sign again. Takes like 30 seconds, rather than get a checklist and waste a month.

Thanks everyone for your advice. I re-printed the one page today and plan to correct it. I didn't do it on the computer because I rather type in information. Plus, it wouldn't let me put "n/a" if the question box wasn't aplicable and I didn't want to have my form half-typed and the other half hand-written.
