Hello. Today my finace made the visa payment fee at the bank and they have him a receipt. When I go to schedule the interview they are asking for the MRV number but nowhere in the receipt has it. I tried every number on the receipt and nothing. I am very lost and help. Stressing out because I think something went wrong

I read that and it really didn't explain what a mrv number is

Read this and see if it can help you...

Well, that info was for the Philippines and doesn't apply to you, as your profile shows you are going through the DR. From the DR ustraveldocs site >

Step 6

Once you pay your visa fee, you can schedule your interview at 11am the following business day. Log-in to your profile and complete the Schedule Your Appointment steps with your CGI Reference number.

Try tomorrow after 11am and use the CGI reference number.

Ahh, you are right. I completely forgot it was the weekend. You may need to wait until Monday.

Oh, if you scroll all the way to the bottom you would have read how long and how fast your payment will be processed. Someone else already made a comment about it being weekend...You should be fine, and I would call the embassy if you still have problem, they will solve it.

When I go on the site it says the next available appointment then it has the date. On Monday when I apply the receipt number would the be my appointment date?

The Next available appointment notice only states that if you want to schedule an appointment, the earliest date would be that date. If it says, for example, June 12 ... then you would not be able to schedule an appointment prior to June 12 because it is full all the way up until that date. It does not signify that your appointment date is on that date ... unless you schedule it for that date.

So you have the opportunity to schedule an interview date anytime during or after the date that you see.
