I just saw here another two administrative processing threads but they are different then our case.. so I will just create my own than commenting there

My fiancee just got out of embassy after sitting there almost 5hrs. She said ALL question asked by CO were about me, and she answered everything. In the end he told her we will contact you, wait for a call and gave her 221 (g) (pink). It doesn't ask for anything (he told her that as well), just marked "Your case requires special procedure. [Please] wait, we will contact you".

He took from her the folder where she had all papers listed on packet 4 instruction along with birth certificates (copy, translation), pictures and copy of whatsapp

Our status on ceac.state.gov/ changed to Administrative Processing

Any idea what is this? Everything on our consulate reviews was looking so good, and yet we got this (i know all cases are unique)

I cleaned My Timeline. Hope nobody minds

Did they keep her passport? Everyone has AP (background checks, terrorist list checks, criminal checks, any library books due back checks....all kinds of checks).

All you can do is wait.

Phil (Lockport, near Chicago) and Alla (Lobnya, near Moscow)

As of Dec 7, 2009, now Zero miles apart (literally)!

No, she has her passport. CO told her "she can go back to where she came from (different city), when they are ready they will contact her. She does not need to come back, just send them passport via DHL, and they will send it back with visa via DHL"

email from embassy about AP..

The case is in administrative processing. Many documents were submitted concerning joint communication that must be reviewed. If additional documents are required, or the officer has any additional questions after reviewing the case, we will contact either him or his fiancée to provide supplemental information.

Is it talking about our whatsapp communication or something else? I sent about 20 pages of it

It might be. Look through your copies -- with the eye of a potentially suspicious third party -- and see whether anything could be (mis)interpreted in any way. If you identify something, consider revealing it here.

06-04-2007 = TSC stamps postal return-receipt for I-129f.

06-11-2007 = NOA1 date (unknown to me).

07-20-2007 = Phoned Immigration Officer; got WAC#; where's NOA1?

09-25-2007 = Touch (first-ever).

09-28-2007 = NOA1, 23 days after their 45-day promise to send it (grrrr).

10-20 & 11-14-2007 = Phoned ImmOffs; "still pending."

12-11-2007 = 180 days; file is "between workstations, may be early Jan."; touches 12/11 & 12/12.

12-18-2007 = Call; file is with Division 9 ofcr. (bckgrnd check); e-prompt to shake it; touch.

12-19-2007 = NOA2 by e-mail & web, dated 12-18-07 (187 days; 201 per VJ); in mail 12/24/07.

01-09-2008 = File from USCIS to NVC, 1-4-08; NVC creates file, 1/15/08; to consulate 1/16/08.

01-23-2008 = Consulate gets file; outdated Packet 4 mailed to fiancee 1/27/08; rec'd 3/3/08.

04-29-2008 = Fiancee's 4-min. consular interview, 8:30 a.m.; much evidence brought but not allowed to be presented (consul: "More proof! Second interview! Bring your fiance!").

05-05-2008 = Infuriating $12 call to non-English-speaking consulate appointment-setter.

05-06-2008 = Better $12 call to English-speaker; "joint" interview date 6/30/08 (my selection).

06-30-2008 = Stokes Interrogations w/Ecuadorian (not USC); "wait 2 weeks; we'll mail her."

07-2008 = Daily calls to DOS: "currently processing"; 8/05 = Phoned consulate, got Section Chief; wrote him.

08-07-08 = E-mail from consulate, promising to issue visa "as soon as we get her passport" (on 8/12, per DHL).

08-27-08 = Phoned consulate (they "couldn't find" our file); visa DHL'd 8/28; in hand 9/1; through POE on 10/9 with NO hassles(!).

No, nothing at all. I made two packs to make it easy to read. 1- strictly talking about the documents since the day I sent i-129f to completion of DS-160. and 2- love and other stuff :)

I just checked my status again at CEAC and I noticed that since interview it keeps changing updated date. Can it be considered as a good sign, and somebody's at least touching it?

Got an update today, our status changed to Ready (Your case is ready for your interview when scheduled at the U.S. Consular section.). It was Ready before she went to interview too. I guess we just wait till they contact me or my fiancee, right?
