Timeline

hey guys,


i interviewed on 6th April 2016 at islamabad consulate and before CO interview on first window they gave me sheet to fill out stating that fill out all applicant and petitioner phone numbers,email address and all social web sites you use there user names, after when CO interviewed he asked few questions like where your wife live, what she does , how u guys met ,did u travel to an country before , i answered all question as we studied together at college for 5 years we are doctors and i never went abroad before then he asked for photo album i showed him then he took sheet which they gave me listing all emails phone numbers etc ,, finally he said everything looks fine to me i see no problem yet i require to put you on necessary Administrative process you will hear from us in 30 days or u contact after 30days n gave 221(g) whilte sheet marking administrative process he kept my passport n returned other documents .


but since there is no update on status it just says administrative process with no date update


can anyone predict ho long it would take ?


what are the chances ?

In Domincan Republic if they take your passport its getting a visa and its a good sign...so he said nesessary i assume its procedure im assuming due to the country....

Me and My wife had interview on same day April 6th 2016. He gave us the same white sheet with 221(g) and kept her passport as well.

But i been checking the status almost everyday their isn't a single update since then.

Praying for the Approval and the Passport with the Visa back soooon.

Just be patient, everything is going to be alright. I believe it's just a protocol, it does not mean you will be denied. Many people go through the same situation. Good Luck!

Timeline

In AP, normal thing is that you get several updates after different time periods. I have read some got issue after 6 updates some after 3, it depends when they clear your file.

I send them email yesterday morning and today my file is touched, status updated as April 19.

I was with my wife too on April 6 interview and they gave us AP. two updates after interview but still showing AP
