First of all, I apologize if this is in the wrong forum!

So with the election coming up, and the possibility of having a new republican president, i'm a little nervous. Especially

considering all of the republicans still running oppose same-sex marriage.

The earliest date I can apply for ROC is about a week before the general election.

Do you guys think I have anything to worry about?

No. As insane is Trump is, assuming he wins, I doubt his first order of business is gonna be reversing a supreme court decision and obama plans to appoint his choice of Justice to the vacant supreme court seat anyway so you guys will be fine. Don't worry, be happy. Love wins! ;)

You should be okay and as others said, it is approved by Supreme court so need to worry about. In fact, we are same sex couple too and i got my ROC approved a month ago.. planning to apply citizenship around end of this year. Good luck!

Down here in SoCal I have a guy I work with that lives near Palm Springs (Very Gay Area). They had a Hispanic Gay Club to open up in Indio which is in the same general area as Palm Springs. Well various Hispanic groups started protesting against it and giving it so much bad publicity that it closed. But did you hear about it on tv? If it was white people protesting a gay club then it would have been a nationwide news story, but because it was Hispanics no one heard about it.

I am a diehard Conservative Republican but I do agree with gay marriage, mainly on the aspect that government should get out of the marriage business all together. Not all Republicans believe that Gay Marriage is evil. My little sister was so afraid to tell me that she was going to get married to her fiance, but when she told me I was fine with it and I was even one of her bridesmaids (I am a guy). She and her wife got married and I fully support it.

Why do I need to display proof? I am not lying to you at all. I am just stating that there are other cultures and races that even more resistant to same sex couples than Republicans, and not all republicans are against same sex marriage.
