How long does the NVC holds a petition before forwarding it to the right consulate? And how soon does the beneficiary gets notified by the consulate?

This depends on how long it takes for petitioner to get any infromation to NVC that they ask for'

Some get stuck in NVC for RFE

Do you know your case number?

If so, go to

https://ceac.state.gov/CEACStatTracker/Status.aspx?eQs=o/iS8zDpeAKjMWCuebHqOw==

and track your case status
