Hello, Im new here, May I ask some questions regarding K-1 visa (fiancee) application, I am from the Philippines & my fiance is a US citizen. I was married before and now annuled, 'just got my decision last December 10, 2015 , Fina lity, marriage certificate with remarks (null & void) from caloocan civil registry wherein my past marriage registered. I filed another marriage certificate with remarks (null & void) to NSO and will get it on march 1, 2016. After that I will apply and get a copy of my Cenomar. I already send my document to my fiance via LBC , he recieved already. Here are the documents i sent to my fiance.

- birth cert ( mine & my son )

- annulment decision & finality

- a letter of agreement that I am willing to marry my fiance

- western union since 2014 - present

- billing statement ( electricity, smart network) .. Because we are living together whenever he's here in the philippines

- pictures of us

- passport

- 2x2 picture

- greeting card

- Some of my certificate(bread&pastries), diploma, others

- employment certs

- other proofs

..Please enlighten me if you have anymore suggestions about my documents because I don't know if i completed it to get an approval for my fiance application.

Thank you in advance!

You don't need to submit your educational/vocational certificates or diplomas. The key to approval of a fiance/fiancee petition is evidence that you have met in person and have an ongoing relationship. Proofs such as communication (facebook, whatsapp, viber, emails), copies of boarding passes when he came to visit you, are helpful. We also submitted copies of receipt of engagement rings (I bought one for him as well, under the Hindu tradition the man also wears one)

All the best in your journey!

You need the G-325A .... And the birth certificates are not needed. Also other things not needed.

I suggest you read the Guides for K-1 visa on the top tap

In the I-129F instructions it says otherwise.

You only need a copy of the petitioner's birth certificate, which is used to prove US citizenship.

The beneficiary's birth certificate is never needed for the I-129F petition.

You don't need to send a lot of relationship proof like chat logs and such. I sent around 30 pages total of Skype and Viber logs, and that was it...one page per month of communicating together. Don't worry about the engagement ring receipt. I never had one.

Mostly for the I-129F you need to prove that you've met at least once in the past 2 years and the petitioner is a USC.

Oh and the intent to marry paper from each of you!

Because it is not needed for the application. It can be used by the USC to proof citizenship. Not by the beneficiary!
