hello guys,

We've filed beginning of April 2015 in VSC. It's been long time, bunch of April dudes were already approved who filed after us... So I decided to give uscis a call and talk to tier2 officer. The officer was extremely nice and wish me good luck. But also she told me that my case is still pending in reviewing since last week. So here is a question. How long does it take officer to review your case? Did anyone have this experience before?

Hello!

My experience from June I didn't hear anything about my case from the tier2 officer. And 7 month later I got the mail with a scheduled interview.

Officers are taking they time nowadays. Its a long and patient process.

Don't stress yourself. Just wait and live your life with your spouse. You will get everything.

It is really looong time.

So I submitted service request yesterday and scheduled info pass... This is all we can do to speed up the process

I would like to say it helps. But it doesn't.

I submitted the service request. Got the mail - we will send you decision within 120 days. It didn't happened. I got the email 6 months later.

I went to infopass and just stamped my passport (just in case). They said looks like your documents transferred to local office. You need to wait.

Go to infopass. You will feel better (don't forget your spouse).

And good luck :)

1.5-2 hrs tops. How do I know? Watch http://youtu.be/MlNkcvuqXBo .

It says over a million cases per year and 800 workers. Do the math, say 250 working days in a year. That's 4000 cases per day that need to be adjudicated. So 5 cases per officer. 8 hrs work day = 1.6 hrs per case. That's it. This assumes they do not take any sick/vacation days, no training, no meeting, no coffee break. We all think they spend hours, days, weeks on our cases but math says otherwise. Only a few hours that's it!! We can only argue different kind of petitions require diferent amount of time but not sure if ROCs are among the most difficult petitions to adjudicate.

When they say they are currently working on your case, they mean your folder is dropped to an officer's desk and just sitting among god knows how many other folders to be picked up.

I see you are from Miami, yet you filed to the Vermont center. I thought Florida residents had to file to the California center? Am I wrong?
