Good day to all here!

Has anyone here had experience of not getting the green card after filing ROC which is almost a year next month

after we filed the pertinent ROC docs, what if, we will not get the green card after expiration of the extension letter.

Thanks folks in advance for any comments

If a year has passed since receiving the extension letter, you can schedule an infoPass appointment to receive an I-551 stamp in your passport.

If it's been almost 1 year, are you eligible for citizenship based on the 3 year rule? If so, applying for citizenship will "force" them to render a decision on your ROC petition since they can't interview you for your citizenship test if the ROC hasn't been adjudicated yet.

You need to become a little more proactive and start some calling to the CIS Ombudsman, or your elected Federal officials, and start prodding USCIS to get moving with your ROC petition.

If your extension letter expires, make an infopass appointment and request to get an I-551 stamp in the petitioner's unexpired passport.

Good luck on your immigration journey.
