Few Questions before I start the Process

First, I currently live at home. Will I be able to use this address to start the process. Or should I find an apartment before I start?

Third, I bought the engagement ring online. I do not think a receipt was sent with the ring. What if I can not find the receipt?

Four, I think I only saved the tickets coming back from my last trip to Colombia. Will these, the Colombia Stamps on my passport and the pictures of our trips together be enough proof that we met?

It's fine to live at home and to use that address.

Copy all pages. There's no required format.

Don't worry about the receipt or the ring.

If the tickets and stamps are within the last 2 years, you're fine.

1. That address is fine. You do not need your own apartment.

2. I copied all pages of my passport even blank one, just in case. I doubt color is necessary.

3. No ring receipt is needed. Purchase of an engagement ring is not a requirement.

4. I didn't have all my boarding passes either. It's fine as long as you can prove you were there with a passport stamp, pictures by a landmark, hotel receipt, or some other means. VJers that visit through car rides over the borders do not have boarding passes.

In Colombia (I think other Latin American counties do this) the children take both parents name, my fiancee's full name is D___ V___ C___ N___. Do I use both for her last name or just put C___?

1. You can use the address where you currently live.

2. You must copy ALL pages, including the blank pages. No particular format is necessary so long as you have a copy of all the pages.

3. Engagement ring receipt not required.

4. Your passport stamps will be good proof of meeting. Did you save the boarding passes from your flight? Those will also work. Pictures are great too, but only as supporting evidence with your primary proof of meeting.

You need to list BOTH of the last names.

1. This address is fine, if you move you need to file a change of address online (AR-11)

2. You only need a clear copy of the biographical page of the passport (the page with your photo)

3. Find it on your bank account statement

4. That's fine the stamps on your passport are the most solid proof

You're right it says so on the instructions although I sent only the ID page for both K-1 and I-485 process and had no problems.

You don't need to prove citizenship with the I-485...that's what your NOA2 is for.

For the I-129F, did you send in a copy of your birth certificate, or any other document that may have proven your citizenship?
