Welcome to another monthly thread for those going through NVC. This is a clone of previous threads started by Dwheels76 and Saylin & SoerenHelmer

therefore all credit goes to them.Good luck to all! Please read everything below and refer to it throughout your NVC journey, whether this is your first month at NVC or your third :idea:

Before posting questions, please read the wiki Saylin wrote on the NVC process here. Once you're done, read it one or two more times to really understand it ;)Don't forget to also read the official form instructions as well as USCIS and NVC's websites!

Yes this thread was created by our great Queen Saylin and the knowledge is still going forward. SoerenHelmer will be admin over this thread. This thread I pray stays alive and well as many who have gone through the process or still going can chime in and help and assist.

If you're wondering about time frames, look at the fellow members right here in this thread! Study their signatures/timelines and make notes. VJ also has this awesome page. Use it! I sure did during my process :) That means if you are on this thread WE expect you to have an up to date timeline.

And once you've got a case complete, please join the case complete/interview thread started by Dwheels76 on (currently February), http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/583970-case-complete-to-interview-march-2016/

12-22-2014 Married
08-21-2015 I-130 package to Chicago Lock-box.
08-24-2015 NOA1
01-13-2016 NOA2 Approved. (142 days after NOA1)
01-20-2016 USCIS emailed me and text me Sent to NVC
STAGE 2: NVC
01-26-2016 NVC received our case (13 days after NOA1 approved)

1st Scan Date 02/16/2016 Both I-864 Package and AOS package turned in with all civil documents

2nd Scan Date 02/19/2016 Update I-864 application received again to cover mistake of unchecked box

3rd Scan Date 03/22/2016 NADRA (Like a Birth Certificate) received again because they claim they didn't have and it was included in the package received on 02/16/2016

12-22-2014 Married

08-21-2015 I-130 package to Chicago Lock-box.

01-13-2016 NOA2 Approved. (142 days after NOA1)

STAGE 2: NVC

01-26-2016 NVC received our case (13 days after NOA1 approved)

02-13-2016 Mailed AOS & IV to NVC

02-16-2016 1st Scan Date

02-16-2016 Mailed corrected AOS I-864EZ

02-19-2016 2nd Scan Date

02-26-2016 DS 260 Completed

03-16-2016 Emailed Checklist (dated 06 July 2015---prior to filing USCIS Petition—False Checklist in my opinion) for Birth Certified (was included with papers submitted 02/13/2016) Escalated to Supervisor because it was included in the IV paperwork (two separate folders for Petitioner & Beneficiary (Everything tabbed (Red for petitioner and Blue for Beneficiary), coversheet explaining everything in each folder) Called about the Checklist date which is prior to petition filed. Representative at NVC couldn’t explain.

03-17-2016 Returned email back to ASKNVC regarding the date of 06July2015 checklist date

03-17-2016 Mailed NADRA again (1st Class, Certified Return/Receipt)

03-21-2016 NADRA received and still being reviewed by a supervisor in the Review Dept.

03-22-2016 Received ASKNVC email to request on 03-17-2016 stating they are still waiting on civil documents (no specific mention of the Birth Certified like previously requested on 03-16-2016)

04-18-2016 Case Completed. See 3rd N/A on the U.S. Department of State Website. N/As (Affidavit of Support Fee, Affidavit of Support Documents & Financial Evidence & Civil Documents) Called and confirmed with NVC

(PRAISE BE TO GOD!!!!) Now waiting on being scheduled for Interview.

04-25-2016 Official Correspondence Letter ensuring Case Completed from NVC and informing us they will be scheduling the immigration appointment next.

05-09-2016 Called NVC 11:00 p.m. CST and received verbal notification Interview Scheduled June 24, 2016 @ 7:00 a.m.

STAGE 3: Embassy/Consulate

06-06-2016 Medical Completed @ Aziz Medical Center Islamabad, Pakistan and available for pickup on 06-09-2016

06-24-2016 INTERVIEW AT ISLAMABAD, PAKISTAN EMBASSY OF THE UNITED STATES @ 7:00 A.M.

06-24-2016 Administrative Processing (Provide Emails)

07-22-2016 Embassy received Emails/Updated Phone Records/Viber Messaging

08-10-2016 Visa Issued Yippe!!!!

Hello to everyone.... Our application was approved on January 25th 2016 :) It only took 38 days..... We are waiting for USCS to give us notice about sending our petition to NVC... We did pretty good with the first part of the process thanks to this wonderful page!!! We followed the guides and listened to every advice everyone gave us...

We don't know that much about what's next but I am happy now that you guys posted this thread.... I just started to read all what comes next in this journey... I thank everyone for all the help you can offer... Blessings....

I know this is difficult, but I will keep trying. It will work because, this distance is nothing compared to our love. :wub:

10/2013 we met at church in USA, through some common friends. We became friends.

06/07/2014 we went to our first date. :dancing: Why did we take so long to go out? :ranting:

06/22/2014 I said YES.. I want to be your girlfriend... :luv:

07/16/2014 I had to come back to Colombia because my program was over :cry:

10/10/2014 My love met me in Colombia to spend my birthday weekend with me. We got engaged (L)

02/17/2015 - 03/09/2015 He came back to Colombia to visit me and met my family. :star:

05/12/2015 We couldn't stand the distance, so he decided to move here with me. :wub:

05/28/2015 We got married at the notary. 06/06/2015 We got married at church :D

12/03/2016  Moved back to the USA. 🥰

08/2020 Became a Citizen. 🇱🇷

 

08/2020 Applied to bring my mom. ❤️

02/28/2022 went to pick my mom to the airport in Florida 🤩

Hello experts,

Can I send tax copies ( printed by Accountant) to nvc? My joint sponsor lost tax transcript of 2013, requested from irs. So now I have tax returns of 2014,2013 and Transcript of 2012. Please let me know if I can send copies and Transcripts?

My husband called the NVC on Friday and was told there's no word yet but he will call tomorrow and I will call the embassy here too.
