Birth certificate issues..

Timeline

I was born in iraq and I have never seen my birth certificate ever. I have been living in New Zealand for over 13 years and Im not sure what I should do when I'm asked for my birth certificate.

This is starting to become stressfull. Please help me. Thanks in advance.

Hi I didn't have mine either and it was required by the NVC coz the embassy needs to see it its a MUST!

You need an affidavit could be mothers, fathers or close relatives who were present at the time of your birth. We only needed one affidavit and it was from my mom

Just edit it a little bit and put all your information e.g. If you are choosing your mom put her date of birth and date of mom's marriage etc.

Take your mom with you to a notary office notarise the document and send it off. My visa is CR1 (spouse.
