My joint sponsor is my father in law.

I sent my forms to USCIS, but thet sent me a letter asking for more documentation proving the income of my sponsor and why he does not pay taxes.

He does not pay tax because he is disabled.

We will send the last bank statements stating how much he receives per month.
My doubt is need I to write all values of each month and make the sum of how much he receives annually or
I need just send a letter explaining why he not pays fees and the bank statements attached?
thanks

hi

from where does he get his income on disability, from social security, military or where

from wherever he gets his monthly income they have to write a letter stating how much they send him

You need to send documentation as to why he is not required to file a tax return.

hi

you don't have to write anything

he has to write why he isn't required to file taxes

they need a letter from him, plus he can send the letter from wherever he is getting his income, two different things

he is the joint sponsor, so he needs to give you the proper documentation

hi

no, it's a letter stating why he isn't required to file taxes

the amount can come from the letter as stated before, from social security or wherever they send him his income

The bank statement showing the deposits by itself cannot act as the proof of his income. The letter written by himself mentioning annual or monthly income is also useless. He needs some sort of letter or documentation from whoever he is getting money from that shows he will get the given amount of money monthly or annually. It is definitely not like he is getting those monthly deposits without any documentation. He has to provide those sort of proofs.
