Expiration Form DS-260

On DS-260 form on the right corner is saying :FORM NUMBER: DS-260

:EXPIRATION DATE: 01/31/2016 .

Does anyone know what it means ?

It's probably when its OMB certification expires. Until a new version of the form is released it doesn't really matter.

Every document has an expiration date. Many times they will revise a document and put a new expiration date on it. Sometimes they don't revise a document so the date seems to have expired, but you can still use the document.

If you are submitting a document before an expiration date, you are fine. If you are submitting a document AFTER the expiration date, you need to double check to see if there is a new one. If not, then you can still use the old one.
