For me it took 23 days (08/31/15-09/23/15) after USCIS sent the case to show it as received at the NVC. Another 10 days (10/04/15) to have them enter it and have the case number & invoice number generated.

Count on another 2-3 weeks before you can pay the AOS fee.

IR-1/CR-1 Visa
