Me and my wife filed the i130 for dcf and already received the NOA2 from uscis in the Mexico city embassy. The letter said they were forwarding the case to the Ciudad juarez consulate. We have heard and read that delivery by mail is really bad and that some people got everything by email using the case number. How do you get this case number?

The only thing I got via email was the NOA2. I also have no case number. You have to call Juarez every other day or so until your petition finally appears in their system. It can take some time from your Priority date to the petition being scanned and appearing in the system at Juarez. Juarez will also send the case number in a letter with instructions via correos mexico but we know thats not very reliable so just keep calling. Thats going to be fastest. 656-344-3003 from Mexico. Option 1 for english then options 3 - 1 - 1 to speak to a rep.
