signatures from foreign fiance

My fiance and I are finalizing filling out and assembling all of the necessary documents to send in our I129F packet. It looks like the only two items that my fiance in Thailand will need to print, sign and send to me by mail are her G-325A and her intent to marry letter. Is this correct? Does she need to sign the extension page we created for her work history for her G-325A or should I sign that? I feel like I am missing something else that she needs to sign. She is trying to send this by EMS expedited from Thailand in the next 6 hours in hopes that I can receive them before Thanksgiving holiday and drop the whole packet in the mail before post shuts down for the holiday weekend.

Have them sign the G-325A, any attachments, and the letter of intent.

Also, I had my fiance scan them back to me. I was approved without an RFE. According to the I-129F instructions, only the actual I-129F form (which is only signed by the petitioner) requires an "original signature". I had my fiance sign the G-325A, all attachments, and the Intent to Marry, keep the originals, and scan copies to me.

If they can be scanned back to me and i dont have to wait on unreliable EMS to US post that would be great. Did you have pristine scans with colored ink signatures that were perceived as original copies and slipped through or is this truly the new acceptable way?

He signed in black ink I believe and just scanned them back and I printed them. Actually, the intent looked kind of funny cause it was a bit crooked, haha!

I just read the instructions again and it looks like you got lucky and this slipped by. The instructions say submit signed forms. I will wait for the originals.

To be safe, I would do original signatures. My fiancé's work portion of the g325a wasn't done completely right, I added a page with the necessary info. No signature added.

The instructions do ask for original signatures, some people get lucky with a scanned paper while others get an RFE.

If you do decide to get the original paper, they should sign the G-325A and any supplement papers attached to it along with the letter of intent. Thats all that is needed from the beneficiary at this point.

Thanks for that. I didn't see the original signature requirement either. I printed a scanned version. I understood original is available during interview.

I suppose I'll find out correct answer in the next couple of days.

The instructions no longer say that original signatures are required on anything besides on the actual I-129F form, but if you'd like to wait, that is your choice! Good luck on your journey!

Question for your K1 process with a Thai national..... when she signed her signature for documents, did she sign with roman cursive letters or with her Thai characters?

She signed everything in Roman cursive.
