It's not used for the IR1/CR1 process. Where did you come across it?

can you please tell me if someone knows the DS-2001?

what is it used for?

I am in France should he send it? At what moment? An expedite it as is?

FORM DS2001 IS USED TO LET AMERICAN EMBASSY IN FRANCE KNOW THAT YOU HAVE ALL YOUR PAPERS FOR INTERVIEW READY AND THAT THEY SHOULD SCHEDULE ONE FOR YOU !! IT IS CALLED "FORM OF READINES" AND YOU SHOULD SEND IT TO THEM IF YOU DO HAVE ALL YOUR PAPERS READY FOR INTERVIEW !! THEY USUALLY EMAIL YOU IN ABOUT COUPLE OF WEEKS AFTER THEY RECEIVE IT UNLESS YOU KEEP CALLING THEM AND ASKING IF THEY HAVE IT !! GOOD LUCK !!!

I CR1 visa applicant, you think that it concerns me? We requested to expedite NVC, and received an email saying that they will be contacted once the embassy reportedly responded......
