Today my husband had his CR1 interview. He had to wait close to 5 HOURS before it was finally his turn, but when he was called in to talk with the consulate, he wasn't asked even one question. We went through a K1 visa process in 2014, then back for CR1 now (long story), When he went in, he saw it was the same person who interviewed him for the K1. The consulate smiled and said, "Welcome back. We meet again!" then he told him, "Congratulations! You're on your way back to your wife! I hope this time everything works out great." and then gave him back our evidence of relationship that we sent to USCIS and NVC, and the approval document. My husband was baffled that he wasn't asked even one question! God is great! I'm so thankful we're approved! I have to keep pinching myself! Thank you to everyone who prayed for us! <3

Your experience is remarkable. I didn't know you could get approved without even one questions asked.

It is good to hear experiences like these. That is funny that they both remembered each other.

I've never heard of that happening. My husband was confused by the instant "Congratulations" without an interview.

I was hoping somehow he'd get the same consulate as before, because he had been so nice to my husband at the K1 interview. We were hugely blessed today.

I've read so many posts concerning awful consulates at the embassy in Ghana! I wonder why they're so hard on applicants! I pray you get a better consulate this time.and your visa journey finally ends with happiness.

Thanks to everyone for your congratulations :-D
