Here s a specific question someone might help this paranoid couple.

My wife's parents were refused a B 2 visa in Lima today so she and I are getting ready to travel there for a week.

1.) Have any Peruvian PRs had trouble entering and leaving Peru after a four year absence.

2.) My stepdaughter is staying in the US as we cant locate sperm donor ( last I heard he was in jail) to sign paper for her to travel. For by the off chance there are other Peruvian couples with a similar position, didnthis give any trouble if daughter stays with grandparents in the states and isn't accompanying us?

Thanks

You can travel without your step daughter...no prob...as long as she is left with a caring & responsible adult you both trust

I see no reason to prevent her departing her birth country after a visit, but you can ask in the Peru thread since I have no knowledge,

Does Peru require ppl to get an exit visa to leave, some countries do.

Upon your return you can enquire at the PP office about getting your step-daughters PP, or you can look into adopting her

in the future if you want to

I'm not Peruvian but I can't imagine a reason why Peruvians would have trouble entering or exiting their country of nationality.

I do know Peru has mandatory voting (I'm not sure what the requirements are for Peruvians living abroad) and that's an issue that should be looked at for any Peruvian people who haven't voted recently, but Peru isn't one of the few countries that has exit visas for its own citizens.

- Moved from Working & Traveling During Immigration to the Mexico, Latin & South America regional subforum -

- Question is country-specific -

Eighteen years in the US and I still don't understand Velveeta, TV ads for prescription drugs, only getting 2 weeks paid vacation, or why anyone believes anything they see on Fox "News".

Hi I'm from Peru and I a GC holder. I have a daughter who travels every year back to Peru during school breaks.

I went back to Peru after 9 years and I had no issues entering nor leaving the country.

My daughter can leave US with no issues but Peru does require the parents authorization to leave the country. There are many factors that can influence this such as if your wife has full custody or if he even signed the birth certificate.
