Address Change K1 Visa

Hi Everyone,

I (USC) recently moved and we have our K-1 interview coming up soon. I used my former address to fill out my I-129F and my I-134. At the medical my fiancee gave my current/ new address.

I need to know if I need to change my address with the USCIS or the NVC. We will be using my new address to fill out all future forms. Is there anything we need to do because of the change of address?

You change it on their website. There's not really anything left in the process until after you get married that you need to have an up to date address with them, but do it anyway..takes 30 seconds.

Hello all,

We looked at the USCIS website. The change of address page options didn't fit our situation. The first condition is that they have not received our I-129F paperwork yet at all (They already had it), OR They are currently working on the application (This is done it has been approved already NOA 2) We are done with the NVC as well.

I'm thinking what we will do is she will just put our new address on the DS-160 form she will fill out. I think this should be fine. Is this sufficient?

Since you are the one as the USC that moved you should be okay until you file for AOS at this point then. There was an answer to this very question a couple years ago but it doesn't seem like the policy has changed. It is mainly important to let the NVC know if your Beneficiary has moved since that is where they will send all their letters etc.

As long as you updated your address with the USPS and file for AOS with your new address you should be okay! If she had moved at all while at the NVC I would email them immediately with the contact form so that her forms and letters don't get lost.
