How do I find my documents scan date?

I mailed in the IV/AoS package more then a week ago and according to our carrier USPS, it has been delivered about a week ago, but still when I login to ceac, under civil documents and/or AoS documents, it still says N/A. Is this normal. I looked at one other person's timeline from my wife's country and her document scan date was literally 4 days after she had sent in the documents. So, what is taking this long for our documents to get scanned? We completed the DS-260 just 4 days ago, could that be the reason why we don't have a document scan date yet?

NVC e-mails you once they scan your documents. Some people receive the scan e-mail and some don't. It's really not important. Just call NVC to confirm your documents were received and ask them when. That's all that's necessary.

The scan date won't show up in the ceac portal and those fields will always say N/A.
