1) I believe that you can only pay with a US bank account. Do you have any friends that have a PayPal account and are European/American? You can give them cash and they can send money to your wife.

2) Why will the documents expire in 3 months? You should send the civil and financial documents together so it doesn't slow your case down. Did you provide 2 passport sized photos? You only need to provide photocopies to NVC. The originals you will take to the interview. You don't need to provide any documents for your wife (passport, entry stamps etc.)

3) Nope, the joint sponsor's income is not enough. As the petitioner, your wife will be a sponsor. Since she doesn't work, she'll need to find a joint sponsor who earns enough to support you.

4) Nope, the case will be at NVC for up to a year after your last correspondence with them. So as long as you stay in contact (call, mail, etc.) then just take your time.

Ohh, so there's an expiration date on these documents? Which one will expire specifically? The police certificate?

If you think it'll take a long time to get a joint sponsor then you can submit the civil documents first and then the financial documents later. Be sure to use the correct cover sheet for these documents.

Even if she just stopped working, she's currently unemployed so she won't be able to support you once you come to the US. That's why first your wife will need to complete an I-864 and then find a joint sponsor who can support you based on their income.

I see, well if the documents are expired at the time NVC reviews it then they'll issue a checklist where you'll have to submit new ones. Or, they will tell you to bring new ones to the interview.

On the ceac portal, you can get the cover sheets after you pay the fees. To get the one for the financial documents, go to 'Paid', scroll down and click 'Print document cover sheet'. You'd do the same once you pay the IV fee.

Yes. The addresses on the cover sheet are different depending on what type of documents you send even though the barcode is the same.

I recommend you wait and send everything together. Our AOS had two small mistakes and it took them 50 days to review the corrections--it only took them about 3 weeks to look at them the first time. It's better you secure a sponsor, mail her current Moroccan documents (it only takes about a week), and send the whole packet together.

I believe our documents expired while the whole packet was at NVC, but they did not send us a checklist for that and my spouse took updated copies to the interview.
