embassy email ...feel hopeless

my fiancee sent email to embassy ,, becoz my case is in AP from Last 4 months

so , she got reply from embassy ,, i feel hopeless becoz in email clearly mention that ..The wait could possibly be quite lengthy.

Dear Sir/Madam,

Our records indicate that the visa application for this immigrant visa case is still pending under administrative processing. Unfortunately, it is not possible for us to predict how long this processing may take. The wait could possibly be quite lengthy. However, please rest assured that as soon as this processing is finished, we will contact the applicant using the contact information he/she has provided on his/her application. Thank you for your kind understanding.

If the applicant has not heard from our office after six months, please contact our office again using the web-based email form available on the website of the American Embassy.

Unfortunately here really isn't much you can do about AP except wait. Inshallah you'll get your visa soon. There was someone else who was put in AP today (k-1 visa too). I've been noticing latey that people who were interviewed for CR1/IR1 visas (male or female) have been getting approved without AP.

Maybe it's a k-1 thing? Doubt it but never know anymore with the embassy in Islamabad.

It is a T thing and mainly impacts males, especially those with a common name and/or a connection.

I am also in same situation. my interview was august 2015, everything was perfect as CO told me. but they said your case must go through AP. My visa is CR1/IR1 I e-mailed them and got standard reply like this. actually as i heard if your name is common Islamic name, Like MOHAMED they mostly make background checks and your case may be sent to concerned security agencies in US. so the CO waits the reply from those agencies so that's why it takes long time to issue visa. so Be patient and keep praying.

They say that to everyone, and it can be. I have seen cases where people are in ap for years.

Honestly worrying and getting stressed will not help. I know we also while waiting got many of those e-mails. We waited 15 months for our visa to be issued. Even though I know how hard it is just concentrate in your relationship and be patient. Blessings...

ignore this E-mail try not to get worried and my suggestion email them once if you still don't get any response wait for awhile then try again I have received this email many times in past either other vj members look at up on Tracker part11 I remember one guy have gotten same email right after 2 months his visa get issued.just keep praying for your self Insha Allha all will workout in time.good luck for your visa approved soon.

do you know direct e-mail address of the immigrant visa section except the web-based inquiry form on their website?

They're sending out almost everybody same copy paste email because embassy didn't like to write somethings special I guess.
ignore this E-mail try not to get worried and my suggestion email them once if you still don't get any response wait for awhile then try again I have received this email many times in past either other vj members look at up on Tracker part11 I remember one guy have gotten same email right after 2 months his visa get issued.just keep praying for your self Insha Allha all will workout in time.good luck for your visa approved soon.
