Just getting ready to file my i-129f and was looking at the different service centers. I saw the Texas Service Center was much longer than the others. Where does Michigan go? Typically California? Is there any sort of list or way to make it go to a specific center?

There is nothing you can do to influence where a petition will land. Michigan typically goes to the Texas Service Center, unless USCIS still forwards all K1s to CSC. If your family is on the west coast and you have your permanent address there, then you can file with your parents' address.

As far as I know, all I-129Fs are going to California (CSC) due to the backlog at the other service centers

Very common question that if you do a search will render multiple threads. If we could direct our petitions to the service center of our liking no one would go to TSC and then CSC would be back logged? lol

All petitions are initially mailed to:

The USCIS Dallas Lockbox

For U.S. Postal Service:

USCIS
P.O. Box 660151
Dallas, TX 75266

For Express mail and courier deliveries:

USCIS
Attn: I-129F
2501 South State Highway 121 Business
Suite 400
Lewisville, TX 75067

Then routed by USCIS to the appropriate service center.

Best of Luck!
