Was just checking here but i didn't see any thread for September 2015 cr1 filers and thought i should start one.We sent out our I-130 package today...All the best everyone....Lets all have faith and we will have a smooth journey....

OUR VISA JOURNEY TIMELINE

  • Sep 11th 2015 : sent I-130 to Chicago lock box
  • Sep 16th 2015 : NOA 1 via email and text (case sent to California service center)
  • Sep 18th 2015 : sent N400 (for citizenship) Hope to upgrade before I-130 case gets to NVC
  • Sep 20th 2015 : NOA 1 hard copy ( form I-797)with priority date (Sep 14th 2015)
  • Sep 24th 2015 : Cheque for N-400 cashed
  • Sep 29th 2015 : N-400 NOA 1 (hard copy)
  • OCT 23RD 2015 : Biometric appointments
  • Jan 19th 2016 : NOA 2 (finally) its taken forever but thanks God
  • Jan 20th 2016 : Interview scheduled for N400
  • Feb 27th 2016 : N400 interview (passed,same day oath) yepee!! Sent update email same day to NVC with the attached copy of certificate.
  • Feb 29th 2016 : Sent the update letter and certificate via priority mail to NVC
  • March 3rd 2016 : NVC received and the calling begin

NVC STAGE

  • Feb 8th 2016 : NVC received our case
  • June 3rd 2016: received welcome letter from NVC Finally
  • June 3rd 2016: filed DS 261 and AOS invoiced and paid
  • June 6th 2016: review Ds 261 over the phone
  • June 17th 2016: Visa fee invoiced and Paid
  • June 18th 2016 :filed DS260
  • June 20th 2016: AOS and IV packet sent to nvc
  • June 24th 2016: Scan date
  • Aug 5th 2016 : CC
  • Sep 14th 2016 : P4 letter for interview date
  • Oct 31st 2016 : Interview date

yes it is I also have the same NOA1 as you & it saying the same thing but I am at California and they say it 5 month to be approved at Texas so good luck to you.

September 10, 2009: Arrived for first meeting in-person!
June 17, 2010: Arrived for second in-person meeting and start of travel together to other areas of China!

September 1, 2010: Switched course from K1 to CR-1
December 8, 2010: Wedding date set; it will be on February 18, 2011!
February 9, 2011: Depart for China
February 11, 2011: Registered for marriage in Wuhan, officially married!!!
February 18, 2011: Wedding ceremony in Shiyan!!!
April 22, 2011: Mailed I-130 to Chicago
April 28, 2011: Received NOA1 via text/email, file routed to CSC (priority date April 25th)
April 29, 2011: Updated
May 3, 2011: Received NOA1 hardcopy in mail
July 26, 2011: Received NOA2 via text/email!!!
July 30, 2011: Received NOA2 hardcopy in mail
August 8, 2011: NVC received file
September 1, 2011: NVC case number assigned
September 2, 2011: AOS invoice received, OPTIN email for EP sent
September 7, 2011: Paid AOS bill (payment portal showed PAID on September 9, 2011)
September 8, 2011: OPTIN email accepted, GZO number assigned
September 10, 2011: Emailed AOS package
September 12, 2011: IV bill invoiced
September 13, 2011: Paid IV bill (payment portal showed PAID on September 14, 2011)
September 14, 2011: Emailed IV package
October 3, 2011: Emailed checklist response (checklist generated due to typo on Form DS-230)
October 6, 2011: Case complete at NVC
November 10, 2011: Interview - APPROVED!!!
December 7, 2011: POE - Sea-Tac Airport

September 17, 2013: Mailed I-751 to CSC

September 23, 2013: Received NOA1 in mail (receipt date September 19th)

October 16, 2013: Biometrics Appointment

January 28, 2014: Production of new Green Card ordered

February 3, 2014: New Green Card received; done with USCIS until fall of 2023*

December 18, 2023:  Filed I-90 to renew Green Card

December 21, 2023:  Production of new Green Card ordered - will be seeing USCIS again every 10 years for renewal

happy for you Garey, ours was delivered at Chicago lock box today the USPS guys where late guess because of the rains i thank God they managed to deliver... i hope our case will be sent to California also since i see California is doing faster.

USCIS

September 12th, 2015 - I-130 Packet sent via FedEx
September 15th, 2015 - I-130 Packet Delivered by FedEx ( Delivery Notification signed by J. Chyba)

September 15th, 2015 - Priority Date (Routed to Nebraska Service Center)

September 17th, 2015 - NOA1 email and text received from USCIS. :)

March 11th, 2016 - Approval date ( routed to NVC) :dancing:

March 12th, 2016 - NOA2email and text received from USCIS.

March 24th, 2016 - Text n email ( Case sent to NVC for processing)

NVC

March 31st, 2016 - Case received at NVC ( called to confirm)

April 8th, 2016 - Case # and Invoice # Assigned ( 8 Days from NVC receiving)

April 11th, 2016 - Choice of Agent Completed. DS-261, Paid AOS Fee

April 12th, 2016 - AOS shows 'Paid", IV bill Generated and Paid.

April 14th, 2016 - IV Fee showed as Paid. IV App unlocked.

April 15th, 2016 - IV Application DS 260 completed and submitted

May 20th, 2016 - AOS and IV Docs sent to NVC via 2-day Delivery :dancing:

May 23, 2016 - Packet received by NVC, Notification from USPS confirmed.

May 23, 2016 - SCAN DATE ( received email from NVC)

May 31, 2016 - CASE COMPLETE ( confirmed via phone) 8 days from scan day! Amazing :wow:

June 7, 2016 - Case complete Email Received. Exactly 7 Days after actual CC.

June 27, 2016 - Interview scheduled!!!!!!!! :dancing:

July 18, 2016- VAC and Medical Appointment

That's great Mr/Mrs. It must feel good right?- to know that at least yor package is in the right hands. I'm here dying and the only received the package Yesterday morning. I find myself constantly checking my phone for updates on noa1. If this is just for the short wait on noa1, I dnt want to imagine what it will be like in the next 6 months waiting for approval. God have mercy on all of us!!!!!!!!!!!!

Rodrigueshilardo we thank God..In this journey you will need lots of patience...Its a long emotionally draining journey just try keeping yourself busy and time will fly fast....you will get your NOA1 soon too...just try not to think about it..... at least that's what we are doing...Trusting we will not be getting any RFE and believing for a speedy NOA2 for all of us whom we are with in this journey together....Best of luck everyone!!
