Hi Visa Journeyers!

I'm in a bit of a sticky situation. I came to the U.S. in July on a k-1 Visa and was married last week. I'm about to submit my AOS package but the problem is my wife is currently unemployed and my original joint sponsor lost their job back in February of this year. My question now is should I still submit my joint sponsors affidavit of support seeing how their W-2 etc. was refelcted from the last tax year 2014 ? What do I do in this case? I don't want to submit my AOS package and have delays. Could I use my own income to adjust my status? The company I worked for in Canada has U.S. branches. Can I explain to USCIS that I will resume my old position once I'm granted my work permit? Answers would be greatly appreciated because I'm so confused and stressed right now on how to go about this. Thanks in advance!!

You need a new joint sponsor. You cannot use a joint sponsor that is unemployed, and you cannot self-sponsor(especially through promises of some future employment).
