Interview date is too late?

Hello! My visa application has gone really well, USCIS and NVC worked pretty fast (faster than we thought) BUT when the application came to the embassy in my country, they took too long to send the instructions to my email, because they messed up the email address and sent it to somebody else.

Anyways.. I finally got them and was able to complete the paperwork and schedule an interview, but the earliest date was Oct. 16 and the application is valid until Oct. 2nd... Will there be a problem? will I need to do something else to make sure it stays valid until my interview? Im calmed because it was their mistake, but they can be pretty irrational at times

You can contact them just to be on the safe side but they should automatically extend the time it's valid. When did you do your medical? Your visa will be valid 6 months from your medical so that should be the date you should be more worried about.

you can click live support and talk to someone, but they usually extend automatically, so probably not an issue.
