Is it possible to expedite the I-130

I know this question may seem a bit silly to most but is there any way to expedite the I-130?

My grandfather is terminally ill with cancer. I lived with him growing up and would like to assist him in this time of need.

My wife recently went to the consulate in Guangzhou, China to apply for a tourist visa to come to the states. My wife and I do not plan to stay in the states permanently, so we figured this route would be best at the moment. Unfortunately, an employee at the consulate told my wife that it appears our marriage is "false" and solely for immigration purposes (really pisses me off given my wife took all kinds of evidence of our relationship together for the past 3 years with her, photos, evidence of rented apartments, the massive rock on her finger, etc.). I have lived, worked, and studied in China for the past 4 years. 3 of which I was with my wife. We have been married for 15 months now. This is going to be a long journey. It's the first time we have been apart since we met each other 3 years ago.

Sorry for the rant. Any ideas on expediting this?? Wife is signing the g-325a today and mailing it over.

If there is no way to formally expedite it, is there anything I can do personally that would cut down on the time frame?

Thanks,

Tommy

Sorry I'm new. I think I posted this in the wrong area. I'm going to repost elsewhere.

That's pretty much what I was looking for. It seems my case is not severe enough for any formal expedition criteria. Anything else I could do to have any part of the process expedited? Such as filing certain forms at certain locations etc.

Hi,

There is nothing you can do to expedite this. You do not met the criteria for an expedite.

You having an ill grandfather is not a valid reason to expedite your wife's case.

Sorry.

No

As for the tourist visa denial, tourist visa applicant must show strong ties to their own country. However, any strong ties to their own country are essentially superseded by having a US Citizen spouse (which by your own admission, your wife's evidence consisted of your relationship instead of what would compel her to return to her country).
