Hello!! I am so tired and anxious! My husband has been on AP since his interview on July 17, at the Kingston Embassy. Consular told him one to three months before a decision can be made. They have been updated his case consistently for the pass two weeks. The past three days they have made a status update every day. Any one in the same situation? I am praying that this will be over soon!!

Sorry to hear that hopefully he will have visa issued soon. If you don't mind why is he in AP pending an approval? Is he missing a document?

Yes but that was sent to the consulate a week after his interview he received a white slip 221g.

Oh ok. Try emailing them and see what's the hold up since they've received the documents. I know when I filed for my mom in 2012 she was missing my cousins green card copy because she was my joint sponsor.I sent in the copy of the greencard by email and the visa was issued 5 days later...but that was in 2012.

Hi blenny706:
I know exactly how are you feeling. My husband's interview was May 21 in Montreal, the case has been under AP for 99 days and we don't know the reason, in fact the consular officer said "Everything looks fine, just wait two to three weeks". but gave him a 221g. I have emailed the consulate a couple of time and the response is always the same automatic message. I even tried contacting my congressman 3 weeks ago the consulate has not given any answer to them either.
It's a good thing they are doing updates. I pray you finish this process really soon.
Unfortunately there's nothing we can do.

Everyone goes into AP right B4 the visa is issued (last minute rechecks) Some

countries like India & MENA countries stays in AP for a very long time.

A visa in Kingston after approval can be in 2 days to eight wks every case is

different if there is a question they may be a longer delay...updates can mean

the file is being touched, but sometime the updates can be incorrect

Thank you! Hopefully it's 8 weeks. My husband corrected himself, they did say a month or two. I can't wait till this is over. My children and I misses our other half terribly, my husband is in constant anxiety, he is trying to stay humbled but I know he is excited!

Okay, I only emailed them once, that was a while back, and I cc'd my congressman on the email. They said they were doing checks. Now today again they updated his case and it is still at AP. So for the pass four days they have updated his AP status. Is that normal? Anyone?

Certainly is a good thing they are touching the file, even though we don't know why. I seen that has also happened to other VJ users. In reality just give us some hope that all this nightmare might finish soon.
