Greetings, I've been trying to get ahold of the NVC but have been met with only voicemails. I am trying to call to get my case expedited ASAP but cannot get through. Does anyone have a better way of contacting them or maybe a more direct number? The volcano that I mentioned about a month ago, Cotopaxi, is erupting on a daily basis, spewing ash everywhere and it's only a matter of time before the lava comes out and shuts down the airport. My case was approved Aug 7th from the USCIS so it won't be cutting the process by that much as it's already been two weeks, but I would like it to be moved up so I won't have to be in Ecuador for the next year dodging lava. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Have you received your case number from NVC yet? I never got any voice messages when I called - only had a hard time getting into the phone queue. You should be calling the immigrant line (even though you are K-1) at (603) 334-0700. Is this the number you have been calling?

If you have the NVC case number, then I think the email address you can reach out to is NVCExpedite@state.gov, but you will need that case number first.

I was in the Galápagos Islands inFebruary 2009 when the one by Quito erupted and we could not fly back in

they sent us by ship to Salanas and bused us to guayaquil

What i am trying to say here is Ecuador has many airports and although it is a loosy system of buses at times/ the buses are availble

and i am not sure you will get your case expedited for this reason

too many in the world are in immediate danger

this is not to insult you or be negative or hurtful

just not sure USCIS will hurry up the process for 1 person when there are many asking for the same

but good luck

i love your country

You have to request the expedite through email at the address that Ahmara gave above. I had other reasons for asking for an expedite but mine was appoved a little over a week after I sent it. Doesn't hurt to try.
