Posting under CR 1 as i see no other place to do this but it is for every visa type

When you send documents to immigration, put your case number on each and every page in the upper right hand corner

Especially for RFE and documetns to NVC

i see many say documents are lost and i sent them

But did you put case number so NVC knows what case to add the additional documents to?

BTW when case goes to NVC, you are assigned a new case number different than your reciept number. Use the new one from NVC

If you have Avery Label program you can make your on labels. Put your name and spouse name, DOB, Case number, Invoice number on every page.

Yes, when case goes to NVC you will get a new assigned number for your case and a invoice number. These are the numbers you will give when calling or writing about your case.
