I got an email for 30 days to wait for review however I think I just got CC with 3 N/A and N/A showing on the AOS fee and today is only 16 business days since i send off to NVC

I have seen few people get case complete within 30 days. It used to be 20 business days to get response or checklist. NVC has cleared lot of back log of cases. Problem happened when uscis send so many cases to NVC and system break down occurred same time. This whole thing was very complicated because their they could not issue visa due to not be able to security check for immigrants. DHS would not allow anyone without clearance to have visa so everything was halted for 4 weeks in June. Once USCIS slowed down approving cases and NVC cleared work load. It is nice that things are moving in right direction now.

11/27/2013 - Priority Date

04/21/2015 - NVC received Case

04/29/2015 - DS261 filled

06/04/2015 - Supervisor review Initiated-Wait 42 days

Our AOS and supporting documents were received a week ago. NVC told me over the phone that the documents arrived but they were not yet opened.

Should I be expecting some sort of confirmation from them that it's been opened? Do the 30 days begin after a confirmation of some sort? Thanks sorry if its been asked before.

It should have been 30 days since April. That's when they cut down wait time.
