Hello to all again!

I'm writing because i have a question:

Today i was looking my case on the CEAC page, and I entered on the option 'Choice of Agent'. I've saw my information that I filled,

and after see that all was correct, I went back to the main page, and my curiosity is about what i saw. The status of the 'Choice of Agent'

changed to incompleted, when before do that, it was completed. For leave it correct, i had to resend the form, and after that, it return to completed.

Do you think that this is going to interrupt my 30 day waiting?

Thanks to all of you

I also heard it restart the clock. Do not resubmit form again. It is okay to look at the status as long as you do not resubmit it

Okay but, which clock can restart? I'm on the 30 day waiting for the NVC check the document that they asked me on the last checklist.

I didn't changed any information, i was thinking about and i think that this is like the 'last conexion online' from the WhatsApp, with the

resubmit of the choice of agent, they see if you made any change, and the form of the choice of agent are only a few questions that in

just hours they enable the first fee payment, so it doesn't have any sense, don't you think?

I've been investigating a little bit on the NVC web and i saw that the confirmation number it's the same that the first time that i sent the 'Choice of Agent',

so it's nothing to worry about because anybody can make a mistake with the filling of the forms and we can modify until the day of the interview.

Otherwise, if they see any suspicious, maybe they can ask you to show more documents, but i got all the confirmations that i made, so like i said, it's

nothing to worry about!

choice of agent is what starts the IV fee "clock". I f you've already paid the IV fee, the form is moot and no longer matters. It's one of the stupidest forms in immigration and it's ONLY function would be to send snail mail to the agent if you never called or emailed the NVC. The only thing it does for people on VJ is make sure the IV fee will be invoiced when it's added to the casefile.

If you haven't paid the IV fee, then the 30 days for the file to be added to the casefile will be reset each and every time you resubmit it.

I'm not sure why anyone bothers with the DS-261 after it's submitted. I wish they'd just abolish the form altogether.

Thanks for all your replies, this last one it's what I needed to read about, so now i'm calm about this.
I've already paid the fees like 4 months ago!
It is supposed that NVC have to tell me something about my case on Friday 24th, so let's have fingers crossed!
