can i travel to my country and comeback to usa after divorce

me and my wife we just got divorced after a lot of problems anyway i just want to go to my country for a month to get my self straight up after all this i just want to get sometime off and i want to travel to my country

i do have 10 years green card and i have been married to my wife for 5 years now

do i will have any problem travel and come back to my job in the usa or i can travel and comeback anytime i want its just im afraid if i travel when i come back the immigration will stop me to enter usa because me and my wife divorced and she heard that im fixing to travel and she called me and said she will call the immigration office and she will make sure they will not let me enter usa again

You have your green card and have been a resident for 5 years. You are allowed to leave the country for a month and to return. Also, why not file for citizenship now? You are eligible based on 3 years of marriage, or 5 years of being a permanent resident.

i only been living here in the usa for 3 years and we got divorced so i think i have to wait for 5 years to file for citizenship its just i could not handle the problems i just could not do it anymore

To put it simply:

Yes, you can, no problem.

Why?

You're a permanent resident of the US. You're allowed to leave the country and return, just like any other permanent resident. Your ex wife thinks she owns you somehow. She doesn't. When you received your 10 year green card, a USCIS adjudicator looked at your case and determined that your marriage was bona fide. Unless you commit a serious crime, or someone has extremely clear evidence that your marriage was fraudulent, your 10 year green card will not be revoked.

A bitter ex wife running to immigration saying "he just married me for a green card!" is not evidence of anything.

Her bitterness doesn't take away your green card and 5 years of marriage.

You have full right to travel back and forth overseas...just note some some of

the travel restrictions in terms of duration.

I think it's always wise to take a mental break from a traumatic experience.

If you have the 10 years green card, you can travel without the divorce affecting your status. That if your trip is for just one month.

In section Maintaining Your Permanent Resident Status in page 10 says:

"If you think you will be out of the U.S. for more than 12 months, you should apply for a re-entry permit before leaving the country.You should file Form I-131, Application for a Travel Document.You can get this form at http://www.uscis.govor by calling the USCIS Forms Line at 1-800-870-3676.You must pay a fee to file Form I-131."
